Great spot close to the coast and countryside in Dorset. the garden was lovely 🌿. just a 20-minute drive to Bulbarrow Hill for a nice outing!

It made my trip to Ansty a comfortable experience. There was plenty of exceptional meals. Airy room with big comfortable bed, good shower pressure, for example, the staff was exceptional, whenever I needed help. The location was remote, magnificent by the beach.

Remote location was a plus.

The breakfast was superb, worth the price. Got the same superior queen room with a nice view booked online, really enjoyed that. - the hotel was near Woodhouse pubs and a cycle route.

This is the best hotel that we have stayed in for a very long time. Lovely staff , great menu and the area is spectacular

. There was no mobile signal for miles but this wasn't a problem for us as we wanted a complete getaway

The unit we got was spotless with a Georgian bedroom and a big bed.

Conveniently situated along a cycling route. the room was spotless and had all the essentials like a shower, hair dryer, and soft bath sheets ready to use if needed. 🚴‍♂️

We had a really comfortable stay at this petite hotel. Breakfast was warm. - All of the staff were immensely pleasant and amiable. - the location was good and beautiful for traveling around Ansty, adjacent to the seaside and quiet, lovely countryside.

Rooms were delightful, and the food very good. We were there mid week and the bar was dead in the evenings.

Only that as it was so far away from a big town the bar was really quiet each evening.

The food was excellent. Both food and drinks were not too expensive given the fact this is the only establishment of its type for miles around and they therefore have a captive audience.

Despite comments above we found the evening meal menu very limited in choice. There were no changes during the course of our stay and no "specials" available. The staff were accomodating but not particulary friendly. The bathroom was in need of a complete overall so I would challenge the hotel's 4 star aa rating.

Very friendly staff, excellent food and real ale in the bar. Room was spacious and value for money, bed was very very comfortable.

Could have been a few more items in bathroom for our use.

A lovely place with a great bathtub, nestled in a secluded and welcoming pub that's perfect for dogs, close to the bar/restaurant and surrounded by the picturesque countryside of Dorset.

The breakfast offered was hot with toast, couldn't have asked for more. the inn is in a remote location next to a very scenic, quiet area. -the surrounding countryside is lovely and peaceful. -the inn's proximity to the restaurant and seaside is convenient for guests.
